Zhongying Niannian (中影年年) is a Beijing-based 3D animation studio and AIGC company headquartered in Changping District, led by founder and chairman 郭勇 (Guo Yong). It began as an animation house — its 3D series include 《少年歌行》, 《元龙》, 《血色苍穹》, 《芯觉》, 《勇者大冒险》, 《生死回放》 and 《三十六骑》 — and has since built the production technology behind that output into a business of its own, supplying digital-human and 3D content tooling to studios, brands and cultural-tourism operators. Public accounts of its founding differ, one industry profile dating it to 2009 under a former name, Beijing Longma Century, and other write-ups giving 2011.
Its digital-human work centres on MetaEco, described as a high-efficiency digital content production platform offering digital-human generation as a service, built alongside a set of self-developed models: the 如意 (Ruyi) large model, an AIG 3D large model, and product lines reported in 2024 as 年年彩椒 for intelligent 3D modelling and 年年大姿态 for digital-human generation. The underlying capabilities described in public material include image-to-3D reconstruction, realistic facial expression systems and audio-driven lip synchronisation. In 2022 the company formed a joint research laboratory with Huawei’s 2012 Laboratories aimed at generative AI and three-dimensional digital content, and public accounts credit that collaboration with a digital-human production line and participation in digital-human industry standards work.
The company’s own digital spokesperson, 映映 (Yingying), is a virtual human it developed in-house and uses as a brand-facing avatar; it appeared at ChinaJoy 2023 demonstrating real-time AI-driven avatar generation and on-screen interaction. The company has also established an East China regional headquarters in the Shinan district of Qingdao, presented as an AIGC technology-empowerment platform and associated with the development of the 如意 model and MetaEco. It is described in Chinese coverage as a national high-technology enterprise and a Beijing “specialised and innovative” (专精特新) enterprise, and in 2024 it was named a Key Enterprise Partner by the Hong Kong SAR government. A Series C financing round is reported for March 2026.
