Zhongshi Xinke Animation (中视新科动漫股份有限公司) is the state-controlled company behind Xinke Niang (新科娘, also written 心萪) — the official moe personification and virtual UP-host of the CCTV-affiliated Xinke Animation channel in the China Central Newsreel and Documentary Film Group (中央新影) system. Established in February 2009 with 147.88 million RMB registered capital and legal representative Chai Lin (柴林), the company published the character’s virtual form on 8 March 2013, making her one of China’s earliest institutional virtual hosts; she presented channel programming and, from 2019, ran a Bilibili virtual-UP operation driven by successive real performers — a 2021 dispute over the character’s third performer drew public attention to that operating model — until updates stopped in December 2021.

The company was declared bankrupt: the Beijing No.1 Intermediate Court accepted liquidation on 22 December 2025, and its 17 copyrights — including the Xinke Niang girl-form image and the 兔英文 works — went to auction on the JD assets exchange from 5 July 2026 at a 3,836.9-yuan reserve as part of the liquidation (IT之家, 搜狐). The registry still records the legal person as existing (存续) while the process runs, and the disposal of the character rights to a future buyer remains pending.
