YuanJing (元境生生（北京）科技有限公司) is the Beijing legal person behind Alibaba’s YuanJing (元境) brand for real-time cloud rendering, the metaverse cloud-streaming operating system and meta-application computing, launched in September 2021 and incorporated that December in Beijing E-Town as an Alibaba wholly-owned subsidiary with RMB 10 million fully paid in, under legal representative Wang Mao (王矛). On that rendering stack the unit sells digital humans: at the 2024 Global Digital Economy Conference it introduced an AI shuzhiren (数智人) solution built on multimodal AIGC for cross-industry virtual-human deployment, and its culture-tourism AI digital-human solution won an outstanding-solution award in Beijing’s 2024 culture-and-tourism technology-innovation scene selection presented at CIFTIS.
The brand’s corporate footprint has since shifted: 元境生生（上海）科技有限公司, a separate legal person established in May 2023 under the same legal representative, is now described as the brand’s registration subject, and Hangzhou Alibaba Venture Capital raised its registered capital more than tenfold to about RMB 118 million in January 2025. This record keys the Beijing company the brand launched under, which remains registered and operating. Both YuanJing entities are distinct from Yuanjing Digital Technology (元境数字科技), the different company documented elsewhere in this library.
