Wuhan University (武汉大学) has moved from deploying AI teaching assistants to selling a digital human education platform. On 16 July 2026 the university unveiled Wuda Digital-Intelligence Education (武大数智教育(武汉)有限公司), its wholly-owned education-technology company, and with partners including Huawei and Kingsoft first-released the Ruiyun Digital-Intelligence Education Platform (睿云数智教育平台): on the teacher side, instructors create exclusive digital human avatars and voices, upload a PowerPoint for automatic parsing into a voiced script, and quickly generate digital human presentation videos for guided learning, intensive instruction and after-class revision, while student and management sides handle course delivery, cloud practical training and quality analytics. The platform opened to the national market on launch day and rolls out across the university’s own courses from the following semester. The platform builds on the university’s earlier AI teaching assistants Luoluo (珞珞) and Jiajia (珈珈), introduced in 2024 on its practice-innovation platform and Luojia Online. The university’s polar-regions situational-awareness VR system was separately selected as a 2025 Metaverse Typical Case, and Wuhan University Zhongnan Hospital — a separate legal person — runs a Neusoft-built digital-twin hospital with a digital human AI assistant.
