Tmall (天猫), registered as Zhejiang Tmall Network Co., Ltd. (浙江天猫网络有限公司) and formerly Zhejiang Taobao Mall Network (浙江淘宝商城网络有限公司), is Alibaba Group’s branded-goods mall, established in 2011 and based on Wenyi West Road in Hangzhou’s Yuhang District. It has used digital humans as its own faces. In August 2020 it named Qianmiao (千喵), the virtual avatar of the singer Jackson Yee (易烊千玺), as its endorser; its luxury channel created its own virtual idol, TIMO, to front fashion shoots with luxury brands; and in October 2024 its sports and outdoor channel made Lili (厘里), the hyperreal digital human of Alibaba’s entertainment group, its ambassador for the Double 11 festival.
