Tianjin Port Group (天津港（集团）有限公司) was established on 26 July 1996 and is registered at 99 Ganggang Road in Tanggu, inside Tianjin’s Binhai New Area. It is a wholly state-owned limited liability company with registered capital of about 6.97 billion yuan, and it operates the Port of Tianjin, one of China’s largest cargo ports.
Its position in the digital human value chain is as a carrier, and as a co-developer of the model its digital human runs on. In October 2023 the group jointly launched PortGPT, a port-industry large model incorporating a digital human assistant, at the Smart Port Conference, working with Zhejiang Sea Port Group (浙海港集团), Huawei (华为), the National Supercomputing Center Tianjin, and Cloudwalk Technology (云从科技).
The digital human built on that system, Tiantian (天天), serves port enterprise production shift-handover meetings, answers port-sector queries, and supports corporate promotion. It was the first digital human put into operational use at one of China’s busiest cargo ports, which places the deployment inside the group’s own working process rather than beside it as promotion.
The registration’s division segment is 120118, which does not correspond to the Binhai New Area address; a subsidiary in the same group carries the same segment, so it records the registering authority rather than the location.
