StreamLake (溪流湖) is Kuaishou’s business-to-business technology brand, launched on 10 August 2022 and operated through Beijing Xiliuhu Technology Co., Ltd., established on 15 May 2019 in Haidian District and formerly named Beijing Shanggu Kaitian Technology Co., Ltd. until February 2022. Its registered capital is ten million yuan and its contact addresses sit on kuaishou.com.
The brand productises what Kuaishou built for its own platform: video-on-demand and live cloud, real-time audio-video, content understanding — and virtual humans, which were part of the offer from the launch rather than added later. At its 2022 debut, China Unicom Online had already signed to co-build a digital human capability open platform with Kuaishou and its partners, and StreamLake’s digital human and XR work was shown at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference the same year.
One deployment is the clearest illustration. “Naisi” (奶思), a virtual digital human, presents on the Mengniu Milk flagship store account on Kuaishou, powered by what is described as StreamLake’s full-chain virtual digital human solution — a dairy brand’s livestream presenter, running on the platform’s own vendor arm, on the platform itself. Supplier, carrier and venue are the same corporate group in that transaction — a recurring structure in this industry that the value chain’s usual divisions handle badly.
A note on reading the company today: streamlake.com in 2026 leads with large-model services, AI coding tools and intelligent audio-video, and does not front a digital human product. That is a repositioning from “audio-video plus” to “AI plus” announced in 2025, not evidence that the earlier line did not exist.
