Classroom and campus

Sichuan Agricultural University (四川农业大学) is a provincial public university founded in 1906 and based in Ya’an, Sichuan, with campuses in Chengdu and Dujiangyan. In June 2025 it launched the AI admissions assistant 叶子 (Yezi), built on a DeepSeek model through WPS 365 and connected to the university’s website, WeChat account and own business systems, answering applicants’ and parents’ admissions questions around the clock. 叶子’s image is the university’s own design, by a brand-design student in its College of Arts and Media, drawing on the trees of its campuses. At the university’s 120th anniversary gala in September 2026, the school’s digital character 叶子 performed an original rap together with the robot 念念 and student representatives.
