The Shenzhen Cultural Centre (深圳市文化馆), founded in 1980 as the Shenzhen Mass Art Centre (深圳市群众艺术馆), is a public institution under the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports that runs public arts training, intangible-heritage programmes and community cultural events. Its new building in Longhua District opened for trial operation on 28 September 2026 with the virtual digital human 文舟舟 (Wen Zhouzhou) as its digital ambassador, providing visitors with navigation, popular-science explanation and activity consultation; the centre presents 文舟舟 together with a digital-twin operations centre and an AI photo studio as the building’s smart-service suite. The new building received about 215,000 visits in its first ten days.
