Shanghai Weiapu Culture Technology (上海喂啊噗文化科技有限公司) is the operating company of Bilibili’s virtual-idol business, including VirtuaReal — the virtual-artist project launched in 2019 with Japan’s NIJISANJI that grew past sixty virtual anchors and has ranked as the top virtual-anchor organisation by Bilibili livestream revenue. The company was incorporated on 19 November 2020 in the Shanghai free-trade zone with registered capital of RMB 6 million, fully paid in, under legal representative Zheng Binwei (郑彬炜); Shanghai Bilibili Technology holds 66 percent.

In January 2026 the business took state capital: Quanzhou Development Group invested and the operating headquarters began moving out of Shanghai, a change that reached the business registries in July 2026 as investor and address amendments.
