Shunwang Media (山东舜网传媒股份有限公司) is the operator of Shunwang (舜网), Jinan’s only official news website and a key Shandong provincial news site, established on 1 June 2000 as a state-owned enterprise controlled by the Jinan Daily Newspaper Group (济南日报报业集团) and listed on the NEEQ in February 2014 under code 430658. It is a national high-tech enterprise, a Shandong gazelle enterprise and a specialised-and-new (专精特新) SME, with businesses spanning internet news services, mobile applications and artificial-intelligence technology services; legal representative is Ding Jianfeng (丁建锋), registered capital RMB 20 million.
The company developed Shunzi (舜子), its own metaverse virtual digital human, and together with Magic Future Digital Technology (魔法未来数字科技) built the application-grade digital human Shunshun (舜舜), driven by real-time motion capture in a 4K holographic cabin, which was presented to the provincial leadership at the 2023 Shandong tourism development conference. Shunwang also serves as the operating unit for the China Internet Society’s annual digital-human showcase and typical-case collection (数字人秀暨数字人场景应用典型案例征集), running its fifth edition in 2025 — a role that places it at the organising centre of the national digital-human application ecosystem as well as among its practitioners.
