Lushang Technology Group (山东鲁商科技集团有限公司) is the technology arm of Shandong’s provincial SOE Lushang Group, established on 5 June 2002 as 山东易通发展集团有限公司 and later renamed; the legal representative is Lyu Yuanzhong (吕元忠) on registered capital of RMB 862.5 million, fully paid, with about 63 staff in Jinan’s high-tech zone. The company runs technology services and investment across the group’s retail and life-services businesses.
Its digital-human work is deployed, not aspirational: a self-developed multimodal virtual digital human handles round-the-clock livestream commerce and information broadcasting on the group’s Lushang Life platform, running alongside AI customer-service bots and an AI “cloud try-on” feature, per the group’s own announcements in July 2024. On the technology side the company holds a patent for a digital-human lecture-video generation method — producing presentation-style explanations synchronised with slides for education and training — among eleven patents and fifty-eight registered copyrights.
