The Shaanxi Association for Science and Technology (陕西省科学技术协会, 陕西省科协) launched its AI science-popularisation officer, the generative-AI digital human 秦小普, at the main venue of the 2025 National Science Popularisation Month in Shaanxi, held at Northwest University in Xi’an in September 2025. Built by its Shaanxi Provincial Science Popularisation Education Center under the association’s direction, 秦小普 runs in the 云上科普陕西 WeChat mini-program, holding natural-language conversations on agricultural technology, aerospace science and history and culture, with daily science check-ins and a science co-creation community. In October 2026 Guizhou’s provincial hospital cited it as the model for its own AI science-popularisation matrix.
