Shanghai Bantu Technology (上海半图科技有限公司), which also uses the English name SemiGraph, is a Shanghai company founded in February 2024 and registered in Xuhui district. Its founder and legal representative, Xing Jun (邢骏), previously led AI research for miHoYo’s 逆熵 team; co-founder Duan Jinjiu (段金玖) came from ByteDance.
The company builds lifelike 3D AI characters. Its core technology is what it calls a human behaviour model: trained on 500,000 hours of structured human-behaviour data, it takes multimodal input together with the character’s environment and state and generates continuous, reusable 3D behaviour that can be used in professional game engines. Its own product, 《代号Live》 (Code Live), is an AI-native 3D virtual-idol game in which the player, as producer, raises a virtual idol named Ria in one-to-one interaction.
In October 2026 the company closed a Pre-A round of more than ten million US dollars led by Lenovo Capital (联想创投), with IDG Capital (IDG资本), an existing shareholder, following on.
