Quanzhou Guoling Technology (泉州果灵科技有限公司) is the operating entity for VirtuaReal (虚拟艺人团体VirtuaReal), the virtual-talent agency launched by Bilibili with the Japanese group NIJISANJI (彩虹社) in 2019 and the earliest such project in China. Its roster streams and performs primarily on Bilibili, and its members’ accounts are verified under a single agency string; the project’s own site is vrp.live.
The company sits at the producer end of the value chain rather than the carrier end: it signs and manages virtual performers rather than hosting other parties’ digital humans. Its position also changed hands recently. VirtuaReal’s operating entity was historically Shanghai Mengdian Culture Technology (上海梦典文化科技有限公司), and the business has been moving to Quanzhou, where the company has established a Southeast China operations headquarters in the city’s Licheng district with plans for regular offline virtual concerts and collaboration around Quanzhou’s World Heritage sites.
