Pantheon Lab (萬想科技有限公司) is a Hong Kong-based generative AI startup founded in 2019 that develops highly realistic AI digital humans using technologies such as facial synthesis, automated expressions and gestures, and voice synthesis. It was incorporated on 6 August 2019 under the English-only name Pantheon Lab Limited and adopted its Chinese name 萬想科技有限公司 on 5 October 2021; the form 潘神實驗室 appears in marketing material but is not a registered name. Its solutions are used in customer service, education, marketing, and entertainment. The company created the world’s first digital human-driven chatbot, launched “Kala” for KFC Taiwan as an AI trainee, and is known for its Metahuman Interface (MHI) enabling expressive, empathetic virtual communication.
