NetEase Yunxin (网易云信) is NetEase’s communications platform-as-a-service, operated by 杭州网易质云科技有限公司, which was registered in Hangzhou in August 2016 and whose legal representative is Ruan Liang (阮良). Outside China the service is branded CommsEase.

Yunxin supplies instant-messaging, audio and video calling and live-streaming SDKs to developers. At NetEase’s Innovation Enterprise Conference in late 2021 it launched an IM + RTC + virtual-human (IM+RTC+虚拟人) solution, presented as improving virtual-human appearance and real-time interactivity and lowering the barrier to deploying virtual humans in real-time communication.
