Exhibition and museum production

The National Maritime Museum of China (天津国家海洋博物馆), in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City in Tianjin’s Binhai New Area, is China’s first national comprehensive maritime museum. It opened for trial operation on 1 May 2019 and is a public institution built and run jointly by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Tianjin municipal government, reporting to the Binhai New Area government.

Its “Future Ocean” (未来海洋) hall, opened on 30 January 2026, presents a projection of the ocean in 2125 across 1,700 square metres, and an AI digital human named 灵汐 (Lingxi) guides visitors through it, alongside digital-twin and interactive exhibits that simulate deep-sea exploration, deep-sea transport and ocean energy.
