Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital (南京鼓楼医院), a tertiary general hospital on Zhongshan Road in Nanjing’s Gulou district, co-developed an AI chronic-disease management digital human with the chronic-disease centre of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (中国疾控中心慢病中心).

The digital human was launched in September 2026 at the chronic-disease prevention and control conference in Nanjing. It covers health education, follow-up, appointment reminders, data monitoring and support for doctors and patients.
