Moxin Technology (魔芯科技), registered in Yuhang District, Hangzhou as 杭州魔芯科技股份有限公司 (also listed as 魔芯(杭州)科技有限公司), was founded in June 2021 in Deqing, Huzhou as 魔芯(湖州)科技有限公司 by Chen Tianrun (陈天润), a Zhejiang University doctoral student. It began with KOKONI consumer 3D printers and has shifted to spatial intelligence and world models: KOKONI-World, an interactive video world model developed with Huawei and released in December 2025, was the precursor of its MoWorld 4D world model. On 1 October 2026 its HarmonyOS app 摸小宠 (Moxiaochong), built on MoWorld, debuted at the Huawei Mate 90 launch: from a few photos of a user’s pet it generates an interactive 4D digital avatar of the pet with spatial structure that changes over time, running a roughly 600-million-parameter MoWorld-2.0-flash model on the phone’s Kirin chip with cloud generation on Ascend. Huawei’s Hubble fund is a shareholder.
