Likeness and IP rights

Mirafans (镜界), also styled Mira 镜界, is an AI likeness-licensing platform operated by Shanghai Puguang Xingyi Culture Technology (上海浦光星奕文化科技有限公司) that acts as an intermediary between people willing to license their faces and the studios producing AI short dramas, anime dramas (漫剧) and brand advertising. Its stated model replaces the employment relationship with an authorisation-and-revenue-share one (授权 + 分账), so that a single licensed face can appear in several productions at once and the licensor receives a share of each. The platform describes itself as a casting venue for AI-era production, and its head, Chu Ting (楚婷), has characterised it as “the casting company of the AI era” (AI时代的选角公司).

The company reports having signed close to ten influencers with more than ten million followers, roughly a hundred with more than a million, and around a thousand further KOLs and ordinary individuals. Reported licensing rates run from tens of thousands of yuan for a top influencer down to roughly a hundred yuan for an ordinary person, for a sixty-to-eighty-minute AI film. Coverage in 36Kr and Sina Finance names actors including Qi Wei (戚薇), Joey Wang (王祖贤), Lawrence Ng (吴启华) and You Benchang (游本昌) among those who have licensed likenesses into this market. These figures are the platform’s own account as relayed in trade reporting, and no independent audit of the signed roster has been published.

Shanghai Puguang Xingyi Culture Technology was incorporated on 26 December 2025 as a limited company with a single natural-person shareholder, with registered capital of one million yuan, registered with the Free Trade Zone market regulator in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area. Its legal representative is Wen Yuhan (温雨涵).

Its public presence runs on Douyin, Xiaohongshu and WeChat under the handle Mirafans-镜界, rather than on Weibo, where the company has no account. The WeChat official account is registered to a different legal person, Shanghai Ganyue Interactive Culture Media (上海感阅互动文化传媒有限公司, 91310105MAD05T8P2T), which shares the same sole shareholder; the account name and content are the platform’s, and the registered subject records who filed it.
