Migu Video Technology (咪咕视讯科技有限公司) was registered in Shanghai in December 2014 and is a subsidiary of Migu Culture Technology, China Mobile’s content company. It is the developer and operator of the Migu Video (咪咕视频) app, Migu’s sports and video service.

In 2021 Migu Video launched Meet GU, its first sports digital human, modelled on the freestyle skier Eileen Gu (谷爱凌), which commentated and presented skiing coverage in Migu’s studio during the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. The app offers an AI-agent service in sports livestreams that turns a user’s voice and photo into audio and video presented by a digital-human avatar, and Migu’s tournament coverage has used 3D digital humans of players. The company holds patents on generating 3D digital-human images (CN116958445A) and determining avatar expressions (CN116962736A).
