Macau University of Science and Technology (澳门科技大学), a private university in Taipa, Macau, created the digital actor Alice through the 小莲花 student team of its Faculty of Humanities and Arts. After Alice was registered on a digital-human rights-confirmation platform, the production company 芝麻映像 signed her to play the female lead in the AI drama 《封神：北海伏妖》, which is registered with the National Radio and Television Administration; the university describes her as the first university-original digital actor signed to an NRTA-registered AI drama.
