Juliang Xingtu (巨量星图) is ByteDance’s creator-marketing marketplace for Douyin and its sibling platforms — the venue where brands, MCN agencies and creators transact sponsored content, with reported scale of over two million bookable creators, more than 1,500 MCN agencies and around 1.9 million brand customers served. The platform has been operated since June 2021 by Wuhan Juliang Xingtu Technology Co., Ltd. (武汉巨量星图科技有限公司), a small-registered-capital ByteDance subsidiary in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone held 100% through Beijing Xingyun Chuangji Technology (北京星云创迹科技有限公司), which also provides operating and technical support for Toutiao, Douyin, Xigua Video and Dongchedi properties; the entity reported 2023 revenue of about RMB 24.1 billion, and reporting notes its main operating revenue moved to the affiliated Wuhan Xingtu New Vision Technology (武汉星图新视界科技有限公司) from September 2024.
Xingtu’s significance in the digital human value chain is that it prices synthetic performers in the same instrument as human ones. Fang Taozi (方桃子), the AI lead of the short drama The Laid-Off Girl (被裁掉的女孩), carries a public Xingtu rate card of ¥168,000 for videos of 1–20 seconds, ¥208,000 for 21–60 seconds and ¥258,000 beyond 60 seconds — above many million-follower human creators. Her first commercial placement, a colored-contact-lens advertisement, was removed after publication: Douyin’s short-video content production rules (抖音短视频内容制作规范, updated 12 August 2026) explicitly prohibit AI digital humans from showing product-use footage contrary to fact or expressing product-use experience, and commentary by lawyers noted that an AI figure cannot serve as an advertising spokesperson (广告代言人) under the Advertising Law because it is not a natural person. Enforcement thus arrives by takedown after publication rather than by a gate at listing, while generation of such performers sits on a different Ocean Engine property, the AIGC creation tool Jichuang (即创).
