Jiangsu Phoenix Xinhua Printing Group Co., Ltd. (江苏凤凰新华印务集团有限公司) is the printing group of Phoenix Publishing & Media, registered on 25 July 2011 in Nanjing’s Qixia district with registered capital of RMB 352 million and legal representative Xu Weihua (徐韦华); it prints a large share of Jiangsu’s textbooks and trade books.

In 2025 the group built the 1,200-square-metre Phoenix Printing Culture Museum, which traces printing from oracle bones and bamboo slips to modern digital presses, and gave it an AI digital human of Bi Sheng (毕昇), the Song-dynasty inventor of movable type. The digital Bi Sheng demonstrates the complete movable-type process and answers visitors’ questions, and has become the signature interactive of the group’s study-tour programme: China’s press-and-publication trade paper profiled the museum’s VR printing-history classroom with the AI Bi Sheng science module, and Modern Express coverage of a primary-school visit opens with pupils “conversing with the AI digital human Bi Sheng” before making their own accordion-fold books and touring the smart printing workshop. Three original VR immersive spaces run alongside the digital human in the museum’s education offering.
