Huafeng Meteorological Media Group (华风气象传媒集团有限责任公司), the China Meteorological Administration’s media company, runs the China Weather (中国天气) service.
In February 2022 it and Xiaoice created 冯小殊, an AI virtual weather anchor trained on the China Weather presenter Feng Shu with Xiaoice’s digital-twin virtual-human technology. In April 2025 it released its self-developed China Weather agent (中国天气智能体), in which a digital human reads out the current weather and answers spoken or typed questions with clothing, travel and health advice.
