Harbin Polarland (哈尔滨极地公园), operated by Harbin Sunasia Polar Park Co., Ltd. (哈尔滨圣亚极地公园有限公司), is a polar-animal and ocean park on Taiyang Avenue in Harbin’s Songbei District and a wholly owned subsidiary of Dalian Sunasia Tourism Holding (SH:600593). In September 2026 it opened what it bills as the world’s first AI-interactive digital-media giant sphere, developed by the park’s own young creative team, combining 8K glasses-free 3D projection with real-time AI voice interaction. The sphere’s AI digital guide Taotao (淘淘), modelled on the park’s own ice-and-snow penguin IP 淘学企鹅, answers visitors’ questions as a digital docent, alongside digital beluga, penguin and polar-bear characters; the installation drew visitors from outside the province over the 2026 National Day holiday and hosted 3D National Day and Mid-Autumn shows.
