GravityXR (万有引力（宁波）电子科技有限公司) is a Ningbo XR and spatial-computing chip designer whose digital human standing rests on three independent legs: a patent, a ministry case-list entry, and a deployed face-rendering technology reported by the provincial press.
The company was incorporated on 24 September 2021 in Zhenhai, Ningbo, as a foreign-invested limited company with registered capital of just over ten million yuan and legal representative Wang Chaohao (王超昊). Its core business is silicon: the EB100 rendering SoC for XR headsets and robotics displays, presented at IC industry forums as a display-and-rendering platform. It holds gazelle-enterprise recognition awarded in 2026.
The digital human work sits on top of the silicon. In December 2024 it filed patent CN122312848A, “用于三维数字人显示控制的方法、装置、设备及存储介质” — a method for three-dimensional digital human display control. Its “灵动脸” (lively face) technology, profiled by Zhejiang Daily in May 2025, generates a digital human likeness of a user from the company’s own capture technology and maps it in real time onto a robot’s face screen with reverse-perspective rendering; the report states the system was adopted in Zhiyuan Robotics’ X2 companion robot in April 2025 — a robot serving as the host for a virtual being, which is the carrier pattern rather than a robotics subject. And its “Xiaowan” (多场景服务数字人"小万"), a multi-scenario service digital human for retail and public-service deployment, is in the 典型数字人案例 section of the four-ministry 2025 metaverse typical-cases list.
One naming caution: a 2026 Zhejiang Online interview refers to the company as 宁波万有引力科技有限公司, which does not match the registered name and has not been confirmed as a rename; and the name 万有引力 (“universal gravitation”) collides with an unrelated Guangdong e-commerce firm and a Ningbo film company on social platforms, so mentions should be resolved through the full registered form.
