Fujian Radio Film and TV Group (福建省广播影视集团) is the provincial broadcaster of Fujian, a public institution formed in February 2004 by merging Fujian People’s Broadcasting Station, Fujian Television, the Fujian Film Studio and their affiliates. It runs two satellite channels, eight terrestrial television channels, six radio frequencies and the Haibo TV (海博TV) news app.
Its digital humans are modelled on its own presenters: a virtual double of host Li Wangye (李望晔), shown in 2023 with a claimed 97% likeness, and one of host Zeng Bao (曾宝), after which it trained the virtual anchor Jinzi (金子) for the daily programme 《福文化·名人佳作》. Xiaomin (小闽), Haibo TV’s first digital employee, has worked as a virtual reporter since 2024 on technology from 蚂蚁特工（厦门）科技有限公司. The group opened an artificial-intelligence laboratory in 2024, and its programmes with V1 Group also use AI digital anchors.
