China Youth Network (中青网新媒体科技(北京)有限公司) is the operating company of China Youth Net (中国青年网, youth.cn), the Communist Youth League-supervised central news website — a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Youth Daily incorporated in April 2008 (as 中青新思创文化投资, renamed 2012) with registered capital of RMB 10 million, legal representative Jin Rui (金锐) and some 172 staff; the site’s own Weibo describes itself as produced by this company.

It is the carrier of Qingxiaoxia (青小霞), the digital host that the short-video brand Qingfengxia (青蜂侠) launched with Baidu’s Baijiahao at the September 2022 Baidu Wanxiang conference — a real-person digital twin modelled on field host Zhang Xinjue (张心觉) with 4D-scanned voiceprint and expression capture, ASR, TTS and the Plato dialogue system, generating presenter-fronted news videos from a text script. 青小霞 has since fronted news broadcasts, special columns and Two Sessions coverage, and China Youth Daily extended the approach in 2024 with a seven-member digital-anchor matrix modelled on its own reporters. Beyond the anchors, the company runs the youth-facing apps 中青看点 and 中青校园 across the outlet’s web, radio, television and mobile platforms.
