China Mobile Information Technology (中移动信息技术有限公司) was registered in Changping, Beijing, in November 2018 and is the same organisation as the China Mobile Information Technology Center (中国移动信息技术中心), a unit directly under the China Mobile group that builds and runs the group’s capability middle platform (能力中台).

Through the platform China Mobile offers plug-in digital-human production (数智人智作), covering the making and operation of digital humans end to end, and reported more than 57 million users of its digital humans. The company describes its own method for building digital humans entirely with AIGC, aimed at cutting their production cost and development time. In 2026 its staff and resources were merged into a new China Mobile digital-intelligence division.
