China Guangfa Bank (广发银行), the national joint-stock bank headquartered in Guangzhou, runs digital humans as the face of its consumer-protection education. Its 数智消保 program, covered by Xinhua, pairs a robot lecture troupe with a “digital-human consumer-protection assistant” (数字人消保小助手) — a virtual digital human serving as an in-house presenter for financial-knowledge explainers, risk warnings and video alerts, styled by the bank as its own enterprise-IP digital employee.
The deployments are spread through the branch network: DH consumer-protection assistants run alongside physical robots at branches in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities; the Kunming branch announced phased AI digital-human compliance education across 154 partner institutions; and the Nanning branch set up a consumer-protection digital-human AI experience area during Financial Education Promotion Week. On the SME side the bank also launched 数企通, a digital ecosystem platform integrating HR, tax and welfare modules.
