Finance under the filing regime
China Construction Bank (中国建设银行), one of China’s four state-owned megabanks, registered in 2004 at 25 Financial Street in Beijing, runs named digital humans in its customer-service channels. Its corporate digital customer-service agent Long Zhiwei (龙知微) went live in July 2023 inside the “中国建设银行客户服务” WeChat account, with a male partner Long Zhiyuan (龙知远) announced as her counterpart — the 龙 of the pair carrying the bank’s long-standing dragon branding. By mid-2026 the Guangdong branch described the two as handling over 10,000 service scenarios, answering 99% of common questions and supporting more than 200 dialects and languages.
On the internal side, the bank has been accelerating its retail AI tool Bangde Assistant (帮得助理), which equips personal client managers with a digital avatar to carry AI into customer-facing workflows, and its procurement notices explicitly cover “digital employee assistant” and “digital employee system” development. The bank also appears in the finance section of the 2020 virtual digital human white paper as an early institutional adopter.
