CCTV International Network Wuxi (央视国际网络无锡有限公司) is the wholly owned Wuxi subsidiary of CCTV International Network (央视国际网络有限公司), the company that operates CCTV.com. It was established on 31 December 2011, its registered capital is 50 million yuan, and it is registered in the Jinniuzuo building of the Wuxi (National) Software Park at 18 Zhenze Road in Xinwu District. It describes its own strategic position as a “new media industry cloud service provider”.
Its position in the digital human value chain is as a producer, and it has industrialised the position explicitly: its Digital Human Factory (数字人工厂) is described as a full-chain closed loop connecting digital-human creation, operational promotion and commercial monetisation, serving government affairs, media and cultural tourism.
The institutional moment came in September 2024, when the First AI Digital Human Forum was held in the Wuxi High-tech District as part of the China International Intelligent Communication Forum, co-hosted by the company and the Jiangsu Provincial Government. The forum launched an “AI Digital Human Empowering All Industries” initiative centred on Wuxi and aimed at the wider Yangtze River Delta, established the CCTV.com Digital Human Factory in the Wuxi High-tech District with research, production and applications under one roof, inaugurated the CCTV.com Smart Media Academy’s Yangtze River Delta branch, and formed the Wuxi High-tech District AI Industry Alliance.
In November 2025 the company was reported demonstrating the factory as an end-to-end pipeline alongside an AI digital human interactive experience, with industrialised production workflow and full-chain process visibility as the capability being shown rather than any single character. In July 2026 it was named among four AI application cases from the Wuxi High-Tech Zone given national recognition, cited for the Digital Human Factory.
