Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (北京服装学院) builds digital humans in its fashion design teaching.

In 2023 a team of its teachers and students built a hyper-realistic fashion digital human for the textile town of Shengze in Suzhou in twenty days, using 3D reconstruction, optical motion capture and facial capture, and wrote up the workflow. In March 2025 a teaching showcase at Beijing Fashion Week included a digital human based on BlueFocus’s 苏小妹, made with 3D modelling, motion capture, model training and Unreal Engine; graduate projects include the AI digital human Paphos.
