Create, the Baidu AI Developer Conference (百度AI开发者大会), is Baidu’s annual developer event, held in Beijing — the 2026 edition ran on 13–14 May at the new hall of the China National Convention Center under the theme 万物一体, with an AI exhibition area and a public-course programme alongside the keynote.
It earns a record here because it is the venue at which Baidu’s digital human line is repositioned rather than merely demonstrated. At Create 2026 founder Robin Li (李彦宏) announced that the digital human platform Huiboxing (慧播星) had been upgraded and renamed Baidu Yijing (百度一镜), presented as a full-scenario multi-agent digital human platform spanning digital human livestreaming, digital human video and real-time interactive digital humans, with an overseas edition launched at the same time. The company reported that by the end of 2025 the platform had passed 100,000 digital human anchors serving more than 30 industries. The renaming is itself the kind of fact this database exists to hold: 慧播星 and 百度一镜 are one product under two names, and reporting from either side of the change uses whichever name was current at the time.
