Ant Yikang (Guangzhou) Information Technology (蚂蚁逸康（广州）信息技术有限公司), set up in Guangzhou’s Haizhu District on 4 August 2022, is the medical-health technology company within Ant Group that publishes Ant Afu (蚂蚁阿福), the group’s AI health app; it is wholly owned by Guangzhou Lingzhi Zhihui Technology (广州灵知智慧科技有限公司).
Ant Afu, renamed from AQ in December 2025, lets doctors open AI avatars (AI分身) of themselves that answer users’ health questions around the clock. The first was trained on 100 hours of consultations by Mao Hongjing (毛洪京) of Hangzhou Seventh People’s Hospital, and by March 2026 more than 1,000 doctors, led by seven national academicians, had opened one.
