The 1010 Digital Human Festival (1010数字人节) is an annual event initiated by Mingtu Technology (明途科技), based in Chengdu and staged on 10 October, the date chosen so that 1010 reads as a symbol of the digital origin (数字本源). Among every event tracked on this site it is the only one whose subject is digital humans rather than an industry that happens to deploy them — small by coverage volume, and definitionally central to the category.
The inaugural edition was held on 10 October 2025 and ran as an online livestream rather than a floor event, reported as drawing tens of thousands of industry participants and ecosystem partners. Its stated purpose is to advance the evolution of digital humans and expand their application ecosystem, operating as a platform for releasing new AI applications, building the ecosystem, and connecting technology with industry use cases. In practice the programming tracks its organiser’s product line: the first edition released WorkBrain V5.5, framed as the core engine of an agent ecosystem direction and paired with a global ecosystem co-construction plan, alongside innovation products including an “AI identity card” (AI身份卡). It also carries a competition format — the Global Agent Innovation Challenge (全球智能体创新挑战赛), organised across three regional divisions in China, Thailand and Malaysia and four thematic tracks covering culture and tourism, education, medical and enterprise, with the grand final staged on the festival date itself.
Deployment cases surfaced through the festival lean institutional rather than consumer. The Nansha District Library “Abei” digital human project was presented as part of building a Guangdong local-documents specialised-processing AI large model, with the digital human acting as the interactive front end for access and engagement — a public-library reading of the same service-endpoint pattern that the larger trade fairs show in government and retail settings.
Its organiser gives this record something almost no other event here has: a keyed operating company. Mingtu Technology is 成都明途科技有限公司, established in Chengdu on 11 July 2014 and designated a national 专精特新"小巨人" enterprise, and it holds a registry key on its own record — making the festival the cleanest event-to-organiser link in the corpus. Note that the news corpus renders the organiser inconsistently, including as “Chengdu Mentu Technology” and once with the characters 成都明图科技有限公司; 明途 is the form carried by the keyed record.
